The Eastside Catholic Faith Formation Ministry offers many services and opportunities to parishioners and neighboring parishes: Bible studies, prayer groups, monthly socials, and so much more. The Erie diocese has created policies to protect our children and youth, guide us in our faith formation, and give us more resources to help us grow in faith and love. Please click on the links below for more detailed information.
Faith Formation
The Faith Formation cooperative is called the Eastside Catholic Faith Formation Ministry. The primary goal of this ministry is to collaborate with parents in the ongoing faith formation of their children and youth as all come to full maturity in Christ. The parents and children are offered formal instruction in the faith, sacraments, scripture in a variety of settings, opportunities to experience different prayer forms (personal and communal) and a deeper sense of mission that focuses on Catholic Social Teaching.
Vision Statement: The Eastside Catholic Religious Education program will provide catechesis through the experience of message, worship, community building and service, leading to the recognition of Christ in ourselves and each other.
The parishes in this collaborative ministry are: Holy Rosary, Holy Trinity, Our Mother of Sorrows (Holy Family, St Ann, St Casimir), St Hedwig, St John the Baptist, St Stanislaus
Catholic & Social Events
We offer Bible study, discussion groups on such things as papal encyclicals and saints, community service, family film nights, and more.
